Dhyan Foundation does not promise any miracle cures, but advocates a vedic way of life based on principles of balance and prakriti (in tune with nature). Once the various layers of body are in a state of balance, profound spiritual experiences follow. This can be judged from the manifestation of various deities in yagyas performed by Dhyan Foundation sadhaks, their interactions with certain divine forces and the revelations therein, as well as the siddhi of clairvoyance of demonstrated in front of the live audience of 200 doctors at the Indian Medical Association, Mumbai.
As a precursor to these practices, Karmic Cleansing is essential. Hence we devote most of our time and effort to the service of humans, animals and environment. Thousands of people are fed daily through our country-wide free food distribution camps. We run ‘Anand Vidyalayas’ to impart free education to underprivileged children and provide vocational training to empower women. We have generated employment for over 10000 rural and tribal people, particularly women, through our various service initiatives. We also promote organic farming and traditional farming practices and equip and train rural people to produce eco-friendly products from gaumutra and govar as a step towards sustainable living.
We are registered with the Animal Welfare Board of India and are taking care of more than 70000 sick, injured, abandoned, orphaned and rescued cows, bulls, dogs, cats, buffaloes, camels, donkeys, sheep, goats, birds and more through a network of over 45 shelters and gaushalas, rescue, rehabilitation and treatment services, 24 hour emergency helpline and ambulance services, emergency relief programs for animals in distress, 1000 plus stray feeding points, among others. We also conduct animal welfare awareness workshops and seminars in schools, colleges and institutions.
According to the BSF we are the ONLY organization that has come forward to transport and rehabilitate the gauvansh rescued from smugglers on the borders by our jawans. We receive 100s of desperate requests from various border outposts and we ensure all the calls are answered and acted upon. Today our Chakulia gaushala has been recognized as the largest nandishala in entire North India and we are the ONLY organization in the world with 90% non-milking old and unproductive nandis and gaumata. Our efforts in the field have brought us several awards and recognitions from established public and private institutions.
DF is unique in that it is largely volunteer-based with only skeletal administrative staff and infrastructure. Our volunteers hail from different geographies, religions, faiths and backgrounds - we have among us doctors, lawyers, scientists, journalists, designers, entrepreneurs, corporate executives and also students and homemakers - all united by the common thought of aiding the creation and sharing the authentic path of yog
